Andrew, thank you so much for taking us out to all the beautiful reefs and wrecks along the south and west coast of Barbados. Our 8 dives were great – your passion and enthusiasm for sea life and the environment was inspiring. You showed us some excellent dive sites – thank you for all the great underwater photos you took – we especially like the turtle shots and the port holes with our faces peering through! We would most definitely recommend Ecodive to anyone looking to experience what the Barbados reef has to offer in the comfort of a great boat, up to date kit and a friendly skipper and dive instructor. We arrived back in the UK on Friday morning and home in the afternoon. It was a long sleepy drive. We have both to say that it was a lovely experience to dive with Ecodive – it was a professional, yet personal approach from start to finish. Andrew was a true professional ensuring that all on the dive had what they wanted, from the diver on referral to the more experienced. All dives were clearly explained and debriefing positive yet identifying next’s steps in diver development.
Both Kurt and myself would like to express our gratitude to making our holiday in Barbados special and enjoyable.

I have now arrived back in England. This is just to let you know & to say thanks to you for teaching me to dive. You have introduced me to a whole new world. I will be continuing to do the open water coarse & will be back as soon as possible. If any body has any doubts about diving Andrew is the person to teach you as he is most knowledgeable calming patient kind genuine person you could ever meet. Hopefully a friendship has been made by my visit to his dive shop a I would recommend his services to anyone I am a business man & not easily hood winked by any one & why would I go to the trouble of writing this appraisal only because of all off the above reasons.

Your promptness, patience and professionalism helped me to feel comfortable and enjoy my dives, free from the usual hassle of crowded dive boats and late departures. Your staff was accommodating and courteous, and the snacks and beverage were much appreciated, after an enjoyable day in the water. When the day arrived for diving, Andrew picked me up from the hotel and gave me a bit of a history lesson on the way to the boat. (I probably learned more from him in a short car-ride than I would have in an all-day bus tour.) Once at the diving boat, I was completely spoiled. Andrew had carried all of our tanks, gear and drinks to the boat. All I had to do was show up! While Andrew gave me the “lay of the land” about the reef, the fish, the possible challenge of the current, I checked my equipment and found it perfect–the bcd was in exceptional shape and everything was well and snugly attached. I cannot recommend Andrew and Eco dive Barbados enough as a highly trained, knowledgeable and aware, underwater guide for the beauty of Barbados.”

Andrew, thank you for inviting me to the reef check organized by the Barbados Marine Trust and Reef Check International. The educational component was quite valuable and it was great to learn about different corals and what causes coral damage and coral disease, as well as brush up on my fish identification. The actual reef check dives were fun and interesting and I was happy to play my part to help save our coral reefs. Thanks again and I look forward to more marine conservation projects in the future.
